1. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  “We” or “our” refers to Sydney Festival, and “you” or “your” refers to an entrant.  It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that you agree to abide by these rules. The selection of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. If you are under 18 you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to enter.

3. The competition opens at 6:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 12 January 2021 and closes at midnight AEDT on Sunday 24 January 2021. Any entry received after the expiry of the competition, or that is illegible, incomplete or defaced, will not be accepted.

4. To enter the competition, each entrant must –

I) View any program or show hosted on the SYDFEST at Home webpage: www.sydneyfestival.org.au/hub/livestream

II) Clickthrough to the “SYDFEST at Home” survey: https://forms.gle/dZAwRjjtxyoTDZTp9

III) Enter in all mandatory / requested fields found in the survey

IV) Submit the completed survey; please note that submission of the survey means you have opted in and agree to the competition Terms and Conditions and Sydney Festival’s privacy policy. 

5. You warrant that any details you provide with the entry are true and accurate and you indemnify Sydney Festival on a continuing basis against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of this warranty.

6. You will enter a pool where the winner will be chosen at random. The winner will be notified via email by midnight AEDT on Friday 29 January 2021. The winner will receive the following

I) A $300 dining credit at Chi by Lotus (located: Shop 2/100 Barangaroo Ave, Barangaroo NSW 2000).  We will manage the restaurant booking and liaise between the winner and the restaurant to find a suitable date.  Any spend above the $300 dining credit will be your responsibility. 

II) The dining credit must be used by Friday 30 April 2021. 

7. If we cannot contact a prize winner by midnight AEDT on Friday 26 February 2021, we may determine another winner for the unclaimed prize. A winner of any unclaimed prize will be the prize winner for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions.

8. No component of the prizes can be transferred or redeemed for cash.  If the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Sydney Festival’s control, Sydney Festival may provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.

9. Sydney Festival may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

10. We may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time and will post variations on T&C’s www.sydneyfestival.org.au/sydfest-at-home-survey-comp. By submitting the “SYDFEST at Home” survey, if we vary the Terms and Conditions in any way, you agree to be bound by the variation; this applies to all entrants.

11. We are bound by the National Privacy principles under the Privacy Act 1988.  We hold personal information for the purposes of sending information about Sydney Festival and other arts events. You can read our Privacy Policy here.

12. If you complete and submit a “SYDFEST at Home” digital survey, you agree that your details may be added to our mailing and subscription list.  You may receive Sydney Festival news, pre-sale information and special offers via the post or email.  You also agree that, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, we may disclose the information you have provided to third party partner organisations who themselves comply with our policy.  These partner organisations may contact you with information that may be of interest to you.
