Led by Stephanie Lake and dancers from the Stephanie Lake Company (SLC), this workshop will introduce participants to SLC's distinct choreographic style.

Participants have the opportunity to learn exciting repertoire from The Chronicles, directly from Lake and dancers from the company. Engage in creative tasks, improvisation techniques and be introduced to the ways in which the company creates their work. The workshop will be fast-moving, fun and dynamic. It is suitable for professional dancers, recent graduates and current tertiary level/pre-professional dance students.

Stephanie Lake Company is one of Australia's most celebrated contemporary dance companies with acclaimed works that tour extensively internationally and nationally. SLC is renowned for its explosive physicality and emotional impact. Works such as Manifesto, Colossus and Double Blind were sold-out hits at past Sydney Festivals and the company returns in 2025 with The Chronicles.
