Blak Out

Olivia and I are proud to reveal the 2024 Blak Out program, bringing together some of Australia’s most talented First Nations artists to share their incredible stories. These artists will challenge, inspire and truth-tell, setting the Blak agenda through their powerful work.

The program features stories of rock’n’roll legends from the desert, of climate change in the Torres Strait, friendship and sisterhood from the big smoke and truths, past and present. Straight from Yellamundie Festival we platform a play reading of one of the newest, deadliest Blak works in the country, whilst Vigil looks to the future through the eyes of those who will inherit it, platforming as we listen to the next generation through song and ceremony. and installation.
