From its magnificent site in Sydney, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is one of Australia’s flagship art museums and the state’s leading visual arts institution.
Their mission is to serve the widest possible audience as a centre of excellence for the collection, preservation, documentation, interpretation and display of Australian and international art, and a forum of scholarship, art education and the exchange of ideas.

TRAIN
The closest train stations are St James and Martin Place, both about 10 minutes walk to the Gallery.
BUS
Bus 441 departs from York St side of QVB and drops off near the Gallery. For timetable information, click here.
A courtesy bus departs from the Gallery entrance every 15 minutes from 7pm until close for the Domain Car Park, Martin Place, Wynyard and Town Hall. This service is only available when the Gallery is open late.
PARKING
There is metered parking available in the streets surrounding the Gallery. You can also park your car at The Domain Car Park which offers $6 off your parking after the first hour (Monday to Friday) when your parking ticket is stamped at the Gallery's information desk (see Art Gallery of NSW for T&Cs).

BIKE
There are bike racks located at the Gallery's main entrance.
