The Crescent at Parramatta Park is an accessible venue. Further information on access, limited mobility and hearing loop can be found on the Parramatta Park website. The best areas for accessibility are available at both the top of the hill and at the bottom. Please note, this is not reserved.
The precinct is relatively flat with a mix of grass and paved surfaces. All permanent toilet facilities have an accessible toilet. Accessible parking is available in the Bowling Green Carpark for RMS mobility parking passes, please email access@sydneyfestival.org.au to reserve a spot.

Do I need a ticket for this event?
No. This event is free and unticketed, all are welcome to join.
What time should I arrive?
The official program starts at 7.30pm. We recommend arriving earlier to secure a space and get your picnic space sorted. Food trucks open from 5pm.
Is photography allowed?
For sure – we encourage you to photograph or film your visit for personal use and share it with us using #sydneyfestival and #parrapark
What happens if it rains?
The event will operate rain or shine. This is an outdoor event, so be prepared and bring warm and weatherproof clothing. In the unlikely event there is extreme weather or hazardous conditions that pose a safety risk, there may be restrictions on the program and what proceeds on the evening. What set-up items can I bring with me?
Small chairs, picnic blankets are allowed.
What items are not allowed?
Please don't bring high chairs, tables, drinking glasses, fireworks, weapons or promotional materials, as they won't be allowed on site. Tarps, tents and shade structures are not permitted in the event area after 6pm.
Can I bring a chair?
Yes, you can bring a low beach chair so that you do not block the views of others. Higher chairs will be sent to the back of the Crescent by security.
Will there be chairs for hire?
No, there will be no chairs for hire.
Can I buy food onsite?
Yes, there will be a delicious range of food options on-site for purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic and alcohol. However, glass drinking glasses are not permitted on site. Please ensure waste is disposed of in the rubbish bins located around the site.
Is there a bar on-site?
No, the site is not licensed.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes. Patrons may bring a small amount of alcohol for personal consumption. Please note that liquor brought into the Park will be restricted to 1 litre per person with a maximum of 14% alcohol.
Is there free drinking water?
Yes, water fountains are available at the event. Please look for water banners around the site.
Are there toilets?
Yes, toilets (including accessible toilets) are located at the front of The Crescent to the side of the stage. Look out for signage, or see one of our helpful Sydney Festival volunteers in green t-shirts for directions.
Is there first aid?
Yes, St John’s Ambulance will be present should you require assistance. They will be located to the right side as you look at the stage. Should you require immediate assistance, please see Sydney Festival staff or security.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs on a leash will be allowed as long as they don't interfere with the enjoyment of other patrons and that you follow the directions of Parramatta Park, outlined on their website. Please note there will be a fireworks display at the end of the performance. This may distress certain pets, so we recommend pet owners to leave before 9pm.
Is there public parking available?
There is no public parking available at Parramatta Park for the event. The Park closes at 2pm on Saturday 21 January to all vehicles. (Please refer to the accessibility section if you have accessibility requirements.) There are a number of multi-level car parks in Parramatta. Can visitors with accessibility requirements attend this event?
An accessibility buggy will provide a shuttle service from the Bowling Green car park to the concert site between 3:30 pm to 10:00pm.
