Celebrate summer with Peruvian Nights at the Australian Museum. During Sydney Festival, the Australian Museum will be open until 9pm every Wednesday with live music, free film screenings, Peruvian inspired snacks and late-night entry into blockbuster exhibition Machu Picchu & the Golden Empires of Peru. 

• Grab yourself a ticket to Machu Picchu & the Golden Empires of Peru, a multi-sensory experience which offers an unparalleled glimpse into the opulent history of the Andean peoples. For an additional fee, you can also take a virtual reality visit to the Incan city, Machu Picchu, where you’ll see, hear and feel this mysterious city in the sky. 
• Catch celebrated Peruvian musicians Duo Jimenez with special guest soloist Lucerito Leon; or listen to percussionist Giorgio Rojas as he teams up with musical outfit ALLY to provide Afro-Peruvian and Andalusian traditional rhythms with a modern jazz aesthetic – accompanied by traditional Peruvian dancers.
• Celebrate Andean cinema with free film screenings in the Theatre.
• Drink in the culture as the Museum kiosk transforms into the Cantina de Cusco offering a selection of Peruvian inspired snacks and beverages.
